Trout Lake Arts Council (a 501©3 nonprofit organization) was founded in 1996. The first event was a two day Festival on the second weekend of July and this event went on for several more years. Currently we hold Pop up events throughout the year for local artists to promote and sell their artwork, a (Writers from the Valley) event in February to promote writers books and current writing projects and an annual fundraising concert for a specific fundraising goal needed in the community.
The Trout Lake Arts Council is a non-profit organization that has been promoting the art and artists of the Mid-Columbia for over 20 years.
The Council is composed of local educators, business owners, artists, art enthusiasts, and parents. Board members include Laurie Sherburne (Chair), Carolyn Wilhelm (Vice Chair), Nina Pochna (Treasurer) and Camden McMahon (Secretary)
Our mission is to promote the art and artists of the Mid-Columbia and provide a forum for the promotion and development of the arts.
